Lake Nakuru is an alkaline soda lake lying 160 km from Nairobi. For nature lovers, this park is covered in grassland and surrounded by euphorbia and acacia forests creating a beautiful natural background that contrasts well with the pink shores. Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru
Pick up from Nairobi Hotel.
This morning we drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley.
Stop at the Great Rift Valley View Point. The Great Rift Valley is a geographical and geological feature running north to south for around 6,400 kilometers, from northern Syria to central Mozambique. Astronauts say it is the most significant physical detail on the planet that is visible from space. Arrive for lunch.
After lunch depart for exciting afternoon game at Lake Nakuru National Park.
You'll enjoy a day long game drive along the shores of Lake Nakuru taking in its diverse variety of both animal and bird life.
The combination of amazing wildlife and stunning views across the open plains of Ol Pejeta guarantees an unforgettable safari experience.
The bird life here is world renown and over 400 bird’s species exist here, White Pelicans, Plovers, Egrets and Marabou Stork. It is also one of the very few places in Africa to see the White Rhino and rare Rothschild Giraffe. Dinner & Overnight at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge or similar. (Full Board)
Day 2: Lake Nakuru - Nairobi
After Breakfast client check out of the Hotel.
Drive back to Nairobi and drop off at pick up point in Nairobi.
