Lake Nakuru National Park, found in the foot of the great rift valley has an elevation of 1,754 meters above sea level, is home to stunning flocks of lesser and Greater Flamingos, which literally turn the lake-shores in to a magnificent pink stretch. This is the only park you are assured of seeing the rhinos in black and white and the Rothschild Giraffe. Masai Mara Game Reserve, located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. Hardly can a visitor miss to spot the big five. The phenomenal wildebeest migration which is a spectacular event only seen in Masai mara is among the seven wonders of the world. Amboseli National Parks is the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants among other wildlife species. Lake Naivasha is the largest freshwater lake fringed by lush forests of fever trees and overlooked by the ragged-edged of the volcanic Mt. Longonot on floor of the Great Rift Valley.
Day 1: Nairobi – Nakuru
Pick up from Nairobi Hotel.
This morning we drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley.
Stop at the Great Rift Valley View Point. The Great Rift Valley is a geographical and geological feature running north to south for around 6,400 kilometers, from northern Syria to central Mozambique. Astronauts say it is the most significant physical detail on the planet that is visible from space.
Arrive for lunch.
After lunch depart for exciting afternoon game at Lake Nakuru National Park.
The park is no longer home to its once famous flamingo flocks, but it remains a world class game drive destination. Four of the Big Five are present (with elephants being the notable absence), with both buffalo and rhinoceros being especially common in the park.
You'll enjoy a day long game drive along the shores of Lake Nakuru taking in its diverse variety of both animal and bird life.
The bird life here is world renown and over 400 bird’s species exist here, White Pelicans, Plovers, Egrets and Marabou Stork. It is also one of the very few places in Africa to see the White Rhino and rare Rothschild Giraffe. Dinner & Overnight at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge or similar. (Full Board)
Day 2: Nakuru – Masai Mara
Breakfast at the lodge, check-out and depart for Masai mara.
Arrive for check in and lunch at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge.
1500 hrs, depart for an afternoon game drive.
Dinner and overnight at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge or similar (Full Board).
Day 3. Masai Mara
Breakfast at the camp.
Depart for a full day game drive at 0830 hrs.
Enjoy about 6 hours of extensive game drives in the Mara.
1500 hrs, return to the Camp for dinner and overnight.
Dinner & overnight at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge (Full Board)
Day 4. Masai Mara - Naivasha
After breakfast at the camp, check out and depart for Lake Naivasha.
Lunch at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.
Dinner & Overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge (Full Board)
Day 5. Naivasha - Amboseli
Breakfast at the hotel, check-out and then depart for Amboseli.
Check in for lunch at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.
Afternoon Game drive to the exotic Amboseli national park.
Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge (Full Board).
Day 6. Amboseli - Nairobi
Breakfast at the lodge.
Check-out and depart for Nairobi.
