Skywide Safaris – Booking Terms & Conditions

1. Payments

Once your booking is confirmed in writing by Skywide Safaris, you will receive an official invoice detailing the payment structure and due dates.

• A deposit of 30% of the total safari cost is required, depending on how far in advance the booking is made.
• In some cases, a second installment may be required before the final balance.
• The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 4 weeks before the safari start date.
• All payments must be received and cleared in our account prior to the start of the safari.
• For last-minute bookings, full payment may be required upfront before any services are rendered.
• Full payment is mandatory for vehicle hire or safari arrangements before the trip begins.

2. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be submitted in writing and are subject to the following fees:

• More than 60 days before safari start date: Loss of deposit
• 60 to 30 days before safari start: 50% of total safari cost
• Less than 30 days, or no-show: 100% of total safari cost

Note: Refunds from third-party service providers (e.g., lodges, airlines) are subject to their individual policies. While Skywide Safaris will assist in processing claims, refunds are not guaranteed.

3. Itineraries

Skywide Safaris will make every effort to operate safaris as booked. However, we reserve the right to make changes due to unforeseen circumstances, such as:

• Adverse weather conditions
• Road closures
• Lodge or campsite unavailability
• Safety or health concerns
• Changes in government regulations

In the event of significant changes, we will notify you promptly and offer the best possible alternative of equal or higher value.

4. Liability

Skywide Safaris acts solely as a booking agent for third-party service providers, including but not limited to: accommodations, airlines, transport companies, and activity operators.

• We are not liable for any delays, injuries, losses, or damages caused by the acts or omissions of third parties.
• Participation in all safaris and activities is at your own risk.
• We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel, health, and cancellation insurance before your trip.

5. General Conditions

• Guests are responsible for ensuring that passports, visas, vaccinations, and travel documents are valid and up to date.
• While we strive for exceptional wildlife experiences, animal sightings are not guaranteed, as wildlife is free-ranging.
• We uphold ethical, low-impact tourism practices and expect guests to respect local cultures, environments, and wildlife.
• Damage to Skywide Safaris’ vehicles or equipment caused by negligence may result in a penalty or recovery fee.
