Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Kampala. Depart after breakfast for a scenic 7-hour drive to Murchison Falls National Park, passing through the Luwero Triangle and Masindi. Enjoy a picnic or restaurant lunch en route. Upon arrival, enter the park and enjoy your first afternoon game drive, with chances to see elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and antelopes.
Dinner & Overnight: At your preferred lodge in Murchison Falls NP
Start the day with an early morning game drive in the northern plains. Look out for lions, leopards, hyenas, giraffes, hartebeests, and more. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls, with sightings of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and numerous bird species, including the rare shoebill stork. Optional hike to the Top of the Falls.

After breakfast, begin a scenic full-day drive (approx. 7–8 hours) south to Fort Portal, passing tea plantations, rural villages, and the lush landscapes of western Uganda. Arrive at your lodge near Kibale Forest, nestled at the foot of the Rwenzori Mountains.

After an early breakfast, head to Kibale National Park HQ for an 8:00 AM briefing before your chimpanzee trek. Follow experienced guides through the dense forest to locate and observe habituated chimpanzees in their natural habitat. Optional: In the afternoon, enjoy a Bigodi Wetland walk, a community-based eco-tour that showcases birds, monkeys, and village life.
Overnight: At your lodge in Kibale
After breakfast, drive (approx. 3 hours) to Queen Elizabeth National Park, located at the base of the Rwenzori Mountains. Arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive across the Kasenyi Plains—home to elephants, lions, buffaloes, and antelopes. Optional: Sundowner drinks overlooking the savannah.

After breakfast, begin your scenic drive south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Stop for photos at the Ishasha sector, famous for tree-climbing lions (optional game drive if time allows). Arrive in Bwindi in the late afternoon. Spend the evening relaxing at the lodge or enjoy an optional guided forest walk or birdwatching.

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for your gorilla trekking briefing. Hike through rugged terrain and dense rainforest with expert trackers until you find your assigned gorilla family. Spend one unforgettable hour observing them—watching infants play, mothers feed, and the mighty silverback keeping watch. Return to the lodge for a well-deserved rest.

Spend the day relaxing and soaking in views over Lake Mutanda and the Virunga Volcanoes. Optional activities include: Canoe rides or nature walks around Lake Mutanda, Visit nearby coffee plantations or birdwatching, Optional Batwa cultural experience (additional cost)

After breakfast, drive (approx. 6 hours) to Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s smallest savannah park but rich in wildlife. Check in and enjoy an afternoon game drive, with possible sightings of zebras, giraffes, elands, buffaloes, and impalas. Optional activities:

After breakfast, transfer to the Airstrip for your domestic flight to Entebbe. Upon arrival, connect to your international flight or continue with onward travel.
